Career Summary

Lorna Whinyates is the Corporate Risk Advisor at Avon Fire & Rescue Service, also managing Insurance. She has worked in research and development for the NHS, including running the medical research ethics committee.

Lorna spent 20 years in education, teaching Psychology and Sociology and gaining leadership experience. She is in the final stage of a master’s degree: MSc Risk, Crisis and Resilience Management.
