Career Summary
Nic is Head of Claims at Thomas Miller (PI Division) and responsible for all claims across 3 discretionary Mutuals (Fire and Rescue Indemnity Company, Activities Industry Mutual and the Livery Companies Mutual Ltd) including supplier management. He is a highly accomplished and motivated insurance professional with over 40 years claims industry experience with extensive expertise in complex case handling across multiple lines of business. He has a strong drive and passion for delivering results through engagement, management & development of people, including pro-active stakeholder management.
Nic has held several key management claims roles previously within Direct Line Group, Eagle Star and Regis Mutual Management in Home, Motor & Commercial insurance to customers within the UK.
Nic is responsible for managing and supporting his team of claims handlers to ensure that claims are handled according to the Mutual culture and ethos and assist them to develop as a team with their skills. Nic will take the lead in all aspects of claims operation management, change management, continuous improvement and working both with internal and external stakeholders including Mutual Managers, Boards, Project leads and claims service suppliers to identify opportunities for member journey improvements.
