Career Summary

Simon joined Thomas Miller in September 2017. He has been working with FRIC since September 2024 and attends all Committee and Board meetings; assists with the preparation of agendas and minutes of meetings; and is involved with claims and underwriting and all aspects of the business.

He initially qualified as a barrister in 1999 and re-qualified as a solicitor in 2001. He is also the Claims Director at Bar Mutual, another Mutual within Thomas Miller, in which he defends professional negligence claims against barristers.

Simon is an experienced solicitor and litigator. He has circa 25 years of experience of legal claims and coverage disputes involving professional negligence, property damage, subrogation, product liability and ATE matters.
